Abstract
ABSTRACT
This development research aims to produce a product in the form of an android application-based learning media based on a cooperative model of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type for valid, practical and effective acid-base material. This development research refers to the 4D development model which includes the definition stage (Define), the design stage (Design), the development stage (Develop) and the dissemination stage (Disseminate). There were four subjects in this study, namely material and media experts, chemistry teachers, and 32 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Bone. The instrument used for validity is a validation sheet by media experts and material experts, practicality is an observation sheet on the implementation of android application learning and student learning outcomes tests. The results of this study are: (1) the validity of the android application from material experts is 3.86 and media experts is 3.78 which is in the very valid category with a consistency test between validators of 100% which is in very high criteria, (2) average the average percentage of practicality of android applications is 100% where the percentage of practicality based on teacher and student response questionnaires to android applications is 97% and 94%, respectively, with very practical categories, (3) android applications meet the effective criteria (≥85%) based on achievement of student learning motivation by 87% and class completeness with a percentage of 91%. Based on these data, it is concluded that the Truth or Dare android application on the TGT type cooperative learning model on acid-base material developed with the 4D model is valid, practical and effective for use in learning.
