Abstract
ABSTRACT
This is a quasi experiment research that aimed to know the effect of the Kahoot! interactive quiz using the Discovery Learning Model toward students' learning outcomes class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Bone on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions subject matter. Research design of this study was post-test only control group design. The research instrument was learning achievement test. This research used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis.The results of descriptive analysis showed the average of learning outcomes of experimental group was 82.74 higher than the control group was 69.61. The results of inferential statistical analysis of learning outcomes showed that the experimental group and the control group data come from homogeneous variances but not normally distributed.The hypothesis test used is the Mann-Whitney test with ∝ = 0.05 and obtained Zcount>Ztable (4.62 >1.64). Based on these data, it can be concluded that the Kahoot! using the Discovery Learning model influences the learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Bone on the subject matter of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions.
