Abstract


This action class research has purpose to known how to implementation the steps of Cooperative Learning Jigswa Type to increase the activity and Self-Efficacy grade X.5 of SMA Negeri 1 Kajuara, Kab. Bone. This research was conducted for two cycles. The results showed that the steps in each phase of the learning model Jigsaw approach that can improve student learning activities and Self-Efficacy were: (1) accomplish the learning objectives and appersepsiby do question and answer, (2) present information in a question and answer session, (3) divide the students into several groups that consist of 4 students in every group heterogeneously then divide sub-material which is different for each student in the original group, (4) direct students in the experts group and guide the students in each group to express opinions, comments or questions, and each students must master the expertmaterial to be explainedfor the original group, (5) direct the expert teams back to the original group and guide the students in the original group discussions to explain the material that has been discussed in the expert group in turn then distribute the worksheets to each original group to be worked together, (6) ask each delegate of group to present the discussion results of group and ask for the feedback from another groups, (7) give an evaluation to the students and ask the students to infer the subject matter by point out directly then give the appreciation individually and groups. The percentage of student activities increased by 26,16% and the average value of students Self-Efficacy in the first cycle for magnitude dimensions is 67.77, streng this 67.7, generality is 78.43 and the second cycle for magnitude dimensions is 78.88, strength 81.85, generality is 82.59.
