Rutinitas Berolahraga dan Implikasinya terhadap Stabilitas Self-criticism pada Mahasiswa

Abstract
Minat mahasiswa berolahraga secara rutin masih cukup rendah. Hal ini memberikan peluang lebih besar terhadap kerentanan kondisi psikologis mereka. Sebagai topik psikologis yang kurang familiar, stabilitas self-criticism tidak mendapatkan proporsi yang memadai sebagai sebuah hasil positif dari rutinitas berolahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh rutinitas berolahraga terhadap stabilitas self-criticism pada mahasiswa. Kami menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek sebanyak 304 mahasiswa (P = 231, L = 73) yang berasal dari berbagai program studi berbeda. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self-criticism dan aktivitas berolahraga pada skala The Ways of Coping (Revised). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan simple regression technique analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa rutinitas berolahraga berpengaruh terhadap tingkat stabilitas self-criticism pada mahasiswa (p < 0,05). Hal ini menjadikan rutinitas olahraga sebagai salah satu teknik coping stres dan prediktor terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menstabilkan tingkat kritisasi terhadap diri sendiri. Dengan hal tersebut, mahasiswa dapat mengurangi resiko terkena stres berat atau gangguan psikologis lainnya.
