Abstract


Abstract: Application of Problem Based Learning to Physics Learning Achievement at X Grade SMA Negeri 2 Majene. This study was pre-experimental research that aimed to describe the physics learning achievement and to know whether the average of physics learning achievement after taught by using problem based learning could achieve 75% of ideal score at X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Majene in academic year 2014/2015. Independent variable in this study was problem based learning and dependent variable was physics learning achievement about temperature, heat and heat transfer. Data of research was obtained by giving test in the last meeting and the test results were analyzed using descriptive analysis and hypothesis test.  Based on descriptive analysis result, it was obtained that the average of physics learning achievement after taught by using problem based learning was at the high category and percentage of highest score was at the knowledge level (C1) and lowest score was at analysislevel (C4). Result of hypothesis test showed that the average of physics learning achievement after taught by problem based learning did not achieved 75% of ideal score.

Abstrak: Penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Majene. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  hasil belajar fisika dan untuk mengetahui tercapai atau tidaknya skor rata-rata hasil belajar fisika yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 75% dari skor ideal setelah diajar dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada peserta didik kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Majene tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran berbasis masalah, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar fisika pada materi suhu, kalor dan perpindahan kalor. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan posttest yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deksriptif diperoleh bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar fisika peserta didik setelah diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah berada pada kategori tinggi dan persentase skor tertinggi peserta didik yang menjawab benar ada pada level pengetahuan (C1) dan yang terendah pada level analisis (C4). Hasil analisis uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar fisika peserta didik setelah diajarkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah tidak mencapai minimal 75% dari skor ideal.
