Abstract


21st century learning emphasizes students' abilities to think critically, be able to connect knowledge with the real world, master information and communication technology, and collaborate. The learning approach that can be applied to 21st century learning is CTL (contextual teaching and learning). The purpose of the good practice "Application of Contextual Teaching and Learning in Osmosis and Plasmolysis Practicum In Vivo" is to make it easier for students to understand the processes of osmosis and plasmolysis by observing firsthand the symptoms that occur in plants that experience osmosis and plasmolysis processes and relate the material they get to the real world and apply it in everyday life. This good practice uses psychomotor assessment with practical activity assessment instruments and practicum report assessment instruments, and the results obtained are that all students of class XI IPA MAN Insan Cendekia achieve 100% completion with an average score of 79. The application of CTL to this good practice can make it easier for students to understand the concepts that are difficult to understand through direct experience with the object.
