Copyright Notice for Authors

If accepted for publication:

1. The copyright of the article belongs to the author. Copyright includes the exclusive right to reproduce or transmit manuscripts in any form and media: reprint, produce photographs, microfilm, or translated versions of the manuscript. Increasing parts of this journal, storage and transmission of databases of any form or media, such as electronic copies, electrostatic and mechanical copies, photocopies, recordings, magnetic media and so on are permitted without permission.

2. Jurnal Nalar Pendidikan allows the author(s) to retain publishing rights without restrictions

3. Jurnal Nalar Pendidikan allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link the fulltext of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose. However, it can not be used for commercial purposes.

General Author Guidelines

  1. Published manuscripts in the form of research results in the field of education are written in Indonesian or English.
  2. The non-Plagiarism text as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 17 of 2010
  3. The writing system consists of: Title (in English and Indonesian), Author's name accompanied by Institution Name, Abstract (in English and Indonesian) and Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Research Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Bibliography, and Attachments (if any).
  4. The author includes a statement that contains information that the work sent to the Journal of Reason Education has never been published before.
  5. Everything related to licensing quotations or the use of computer software for making manuscripts or other matters related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) carried out by the author of the manuscript along with the legal consequences are the responsibility of the manuscript writer.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

  1. The manuscript is typed in Times New Roman letters with a size of 10 and 1.15 spaces on A4 paper with a script length between 6-10 pages, written using Microsoft Word with top, right and bottom margins of 3 cm and 4 cm left.
  2. Article title is printed in capital letters and placed in the middle, 12 point font size and bold. Title no more than 20 words.
  3. The author's name is entered without an academic degree and placed under the title of the article if the manuscript is written by the team, all authors' names must be included. Editors only deal with the main authors listed first. The author's name, affiliation (institution / university) is written using a 10 point font size.
  4.  Abstract: Written in Indonesian or English, size 10 and space 1. Not more than 150 words. Posts do not contain images or tables. The distance of the abstract title with the writing before and after it is 10 points. The abstract must describe the entire contents of the study. Keywords are written with three to five words, separated by commas and Italic writing style of size 10 and the distance before and after it is 10 point space 1 and sorted in alphabetical order.
  5. Manuscript body: Written in two columns with a column spacing of 1 cm, writing size 10 with spaces 1.15. Every beginning of the paragraph begins indenting 5 mm. Consists of four main parts: Introduction, Methods of research (Methods, Materials, etc.), Research Results, Conclusions.
  6. Subtitles are made in 2 levels: Subtitle 1: Align left, with Times New Roman size 10 and in capital letters, (for example INTRODUCTION). Subtitle 2: Align left, with Times New Roman size 10, using capital letters, followed by a period (for example A. Experiment).
  7. Figures and tables in the manuscript are black and must be read clearly and in proportion to the page as a whole and numbered with a font of Times New Roman size 10 with one space. The title of the table is written above the table while the title of the picture is written below the picture.
  8. Introductory Section contains Background, Research Context, Literature Review Results, and Research Objectives. All Introductory sections are integrated in paragraph form. The length of the introduction is 15% to 20% of the total text.
  9. Research Methods contain explanations of the methods used by researchers to produce findings. The length of this section is between 10% to 15% of the total length of the manuscript.
  10. Research Results contain exposure in accordance with the objectives of the study which contains the meaning and comparison with previous theories or previous research results. The length of exposure of research results between 60% to 70% of the total length of the article. 
  11. The Conclusion Section contains the research findings and digest of the results of the discussion presented in paragraph form. Conclusion length between 5% to 10% of the total length of the manuscript.
  12. Writing bibliography, citations, references, tables and drawings refers to the general scientific writing guidelines. However, for each bibliography there is a citation number. Bibliography contains a minimum of 10 references consisting of 30% of books and 70% of journal, internet, magazines, newspapers etc. Use the reference applications will be prioritized, such as: zotero, mendeley, Bibus, etc.
