Abstract


ABSTRAK:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kepatuhan siswa terhadap tata tertib di SMP Negeri 2 Watansoppeng, (2) mengetahui upaya mengatasi terjadinya pelanggaran tata tertib pada siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Watansoppeng, dan (3) mengetahui perilaku siswa setelah penerapan tata tertib di SMP Negeri 2 Watansoppeng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Watansoppeng. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder dengan prosedur pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data verifikasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) siswa SMP Negeri 2 Watansoppeng belum sepenuhnya mematuhi dan melaksanakan tata tertib sekolah tersebut. Tingkat kepatuhan siswa terhadap tata tertib sekolah bervariasi yang disebabkan perbedaan karakter pada masing-masing siswa, (2) Upaya yang dilaksanakan dalam rangka mengatasi pelanggaran tata tertib pada siswa adalah melakukan sosialisasi tata tertib kepada siswa, dan upaya penindakan atau penarapan sanksi yang tegas terhadap siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran tata tertib, di antaranya melalui peringatan tertulis, pencatatan dibuku pelanggaran, dan siswa membuat surat pernyataan tertulis untuk tidak mengulangi pelanggaran tata tertib, (3) terjadi perubahan perilaku yang signifikan kearah yang positif pada perilaku siswa yang sering melakukan pelangaran setelah penerapan tata tertib sekolah.

ABSTRACT: This study aims to (1) find out the students' adherence to the rules in Watansoppeng Junior High School 2, (2) find out the efforts to overcome the occurrence of disciplinary violations in students at Watansoppeng Middle School 2, and (3) find out the behavior of students after the application of discipline at Watansoppeng Middle School 2. This type of research is qualitative descriptive carried out at Watansoppeng Middle School 2. Data sources used are primary and secondary data with procedures for collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. While data analysis techniques through the process of data reduction, data verification data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that; (1) students of SMP Negeri 2 Watansoppeng have not fully complied with and implemented the school rules. The level of student adherence to varied school discipline is due to differences in character in each student, (2) Efforts carried out in order to overcome violations of discipline in students is to socialize the rules to students, and enforcement efforts or the imposition of strict sanctions against students those who committed violations of the rules, including through written warnings, bookkeeping violations, and students made a written statement not to repeat violations of the rules, (3) a significant change in behavior towards the behavior of students who often violated after applying orderly school.
