Pelatihan dan pembuatan asap cair dari tempurung kemiri di Desa Kamiri

Abstract


Candlenut is a plant that has great potential to be developed and improved, especially in terms of the processing of candlenut seeds. Candlenut farmer groups have good business opportunities and potential, including the burning of candlenut shells with pyrolysis technology to produce liquid smoke. Candlenut shell has two layers of skin, namely fruit skin and shell from each kilogram of seeds will produce 30% fruit and 70% shell. Pyrolysis technology produces liquid smoke products is very simple and inexpensive and easy to do. The liquid smoke of the candlenut shell by the Kamiri village community is used as an ingredient for wound and sequence medicine. The lecture and question and answer method regarding making liquid smoke, provides motivation to increase the level of income and welfare of farmers by: lecture and question and answer management of agricultural waste. The conclusion is that partners need to know the knowledge of how to process candlenut seeds well and to design candlenut shell processing obtained from candlenut processing by Farmers and Communities in Kamiri village, encouraging training in the form of liquid smoke products from candlenut shells by making Kamiri Jayawid brand labels to be marketed around the market and Bumdes.
