Abstract

This study aims to analyze in-depth information about the Diaspora of the Manggarai People in Makassar City through the Cultural Workshop Approach. By using a qualitative descriptive approach and supported by a multisystemic approach model used to provide an explanation regarding the existence of the Manggarai Cultural Center in Makassar City. The results of the study recommend that community leaders of the Manggarai people in Makassar City optimize their resources in order to create new creativity in the Manggarai Cultural Center to maintain its existence through a social and cultural approach.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis informasi mendalam tentang Diaspora Orang Manggarai di Kota Makassar Melalui Pendekatan Sanggar Budaya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif serta didukung model pendekatan multisistemik yang digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan perihal eksistensi Sanggar Budaya Manggarai di Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan agar tokoh masyarakat orang Manggarai di Kota Makassar lebih mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang dimiliki dalam rangka melahirkan kreativitas baru dalam Sanggar Budaya Manggarai guna mempertahankan eksistensinya melalui pendekatan sosial dan budaya.
