TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF BLACKOUT CONDITIONS AT PLTD KEBUN KAPAS, PT. PLN (PERSERO) ULP FAKFAK

Abstract


Blackout is a power outage in an area. Electricity is a basic need of the community in current era, which is an essentials in lighting, so if there is a blackout in the distribution network system, it will have an impact on people’s daily activities. Technical analysis of blackout conditions on the power lines located at PLTD Kebun Kapas owned by PT.PLN (Persero) ULP Fakfak's aims to knowing the power available in each feeder is still up to standard or there is damage of generator and the amount of power losses. The research method is a qualitative-descriptive approach and case studies. The results are the load feasibility value on the feeder PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Fakfak on the standard conductor used is 85%. Power losses feeder after blackout at the daytime peak load was 16.45393 kW and at the night peak load is 18.64551 kW and the percentage value of power losses is 4.28% for the daytime peak load and 4.04% for the night peak load. The power received by customer for daytime peak load is 57.1% and for night peak load is 59.5%. Insulation resistance of lower voltage cables or lower voltage networks based on SPLN 42-2 : 1992 and SNI 04-6629 : 2011.
