Abstract


Work engagement is one of the problems experienced by employees in the world of work. Psychological capital is one of the factors that can affect on work engagement. This study aims to determine the effect of work engagement on psychological capital in Zoomers generation employees. Respondents in this study were 315 employees of the Zoomers generation. The work engagement variable in this study used the Utrect Work Engagement Scale (UWES) and the psychological capital used Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ). Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence between psychological capital on work engagement in Zoomers generation employees. This study illustrates that the higher the psychological capital, the higher the work engagement. The results of this study are expected to make Zoomers generation employees and organizations realize that work engagement can be increased by maximizing the psychological capital of employees.
