Abstract
Aggressive behavior is behavior that aims to intentionally injure or damage objects or people physically or verbally. Aggressive behavior can be overcome by administering The Good Behavior Games (GBG) intervention. Giving GBG is given to reduce the level of aggressive behavior of adolescents who emphasize rules in the class by giving rewards and punishments. The purpose of this study is to see that GBG can reduce aggressive behavior in students. Respondents in this study were 15 young students of SMP X according to the sample criteria who had high and moderate levels of aggressive behavior. This study used the experimental method of one group pre-test post-test design. There was a significant difference from the results of the pre-test and post-test of the respondents which showed Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) was 0.001, 0.001 <0.005 indicating a significant difference. The Good Behavior Games (GBG) is effective in reducing the level of aggressive behavior in Teenager. The findings of this study have implications for school teachers to use GBG in learning in order to reduce or overcome the occurrence of aggressive behavior in students.
