Abstract


One form of intervention that can be taught to parents who have children with special needs including autism is mindful parenting . The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mindful parenting  training on improving the subjective well-being of parents who have children with autism disorders. The research method used in this research is the experimental method. Data was collected using two scales, namely Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) to describe subjective comfort. The analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon technique with (p=0.018), (Mpre=61,4), (Mpoct=73) which means that mindful parenting  training is effective for improving the subjective well-being of parents who have children with autism. This mindful parenting  training can be applied to parents who have autistic children.
