Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the think pair share model to improve the student learning process in mathematics subject matter simple fractions and to find out the application of concrete objects media can improve mathematics learning outcomes in the material of the Largest Fellowship Factor (FPB) and the Least Fellowship Multiple grade IV SD Inpres Camming, Barru Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The focus of this research is the learning process and the improvement of student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were teachers and fourth grade students of SD Inpres Camming, Barru Regency, the number of students was 10 people. consisting of 5 men and 5 women. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. The learning results in cycle I indicate that the indicators of success have not been achieved with sufficient categories. In the second cycle the learning outcomes have reached the success indicators with good categories. The conclusion of the results of this study is that there is an increase in the learning process and student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects regarding the Largest Fellowship Factor (FPB) and the Smallest Fellowship Multiple (KPK) Class IV SD Inpres Camming, Barru Regency.
