PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR SISTEM HUKUM NASIONAL SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 TOMMO

Abstract
The objectives of conducting this research are as follows: (1) Improving students' understanding of Civics subjects by changing learning strategies. (2) Seeing the results of the learning strategy by observing. The research method used in this research is classroom action research (Action Research). This classroom action research was conducted in class X SMA Negeri 1 Tommo, there were 42 students in this class, consisting of 18 male students and 24 female students. The academic ability of the students in this class was on average sufficient. Another related condition is that their background is quite diverse, they consist of various ethnicities, religions, so that overall class X is relatively quite heterogeneous. Thus researchers can examine an object in this case students use certain approaches or learning models to increase the level of student understanding. Through actions that are deliberately carried out with a specific purpose in the form of a series of activity cycles. The results showed that the STAD cooperative learning was effective in increasing the understanding of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Tommo.
