PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING KELAS IV

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN Bogotanjung 02 Kecamatan Gabus Kabupaten Pati pada matematika materi pecahan uang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan ketercapaian hasil belajar peserta didik 24,24 % dari 33 peserta didik belum mencapai nilai ketuntasan minimal yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 75. Berdasarkan  permasalahan tersebut , maka tujuan penelitian yang hendak di capai adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pecahan  dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN Bogotanjung 02 yang teridiri dari 35 orang. Hasil penelitian menggunakan model Problem Based Learning menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Pada siklus pertama prosentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai 33,33% dari jumlah peserta didik dan siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 84,84%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of participants second grade students at SDN Bogotanjung 02, Gabus Distric, Pati Regency in mathematics with the material on the value of  fractions. This is avidenced by the achievement of student learning outcomes 24, 24 %of the 33 students have not reached the speciefed minimum completeness score 75. Based on the problem therefore, the research objective to be achieved id to find out improvement of student learning outcomes on the material of the  value of money denominations with using the Problem Based Leaning model . Researsch subject this is a class IV at SDN Bogotanjung 02 which consist of 35 people. The result od the study using the Problem Based Learning model showed a significant increase. In the first cycle the average volue of studentslearning outcomes 33,33% of themumber of student and in the second cycle increased to 84.84%. Based  results of the  study, it can be  concluded that the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes in the valuefractions can be increased through the application of the Problem Based Learning model.
