Abstract


ABSTRAK

The use of teacher learning methods that are still conventional, students use the lecture method, causing low learning outcomes. Another possibility is that teachers still have difficulty in compiling learning tools, worksheets, simple teaching aids, and the use of other media. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in Science Subjects about Digestive Devices in Humans at SDN Jomblang 01 Semarang by using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Learning Model. We did this action research using a Class Action Research approach. We planned 2 cycles with each cycle: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation, 4) Reflection on VB class students at SDN Jomblang 01. From data collection on formative test results for VB class students in science subjects about The digestive system in humans shows an increase. The percentage of students whose grades completed was only 48%, in the first cycle there was an increase of 47.92% to 71% and in the second cycle the percentage of complete scores also increased by 23.94% from the first cycle to 88%. Cycle I learning outcomes are in a good category. The increase in student outcomes occurred after the improvement in cycle I and cycle II was due to the learning model used by the author when teaching was more varied, namely using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model. The research was carried out only until the second cycle and was not continued because it was in accordance with the standard of completeness of the researcher that the research was said to be successful if the students had met the completeness score in the class where the percentage of complete scores had exceeded 85%, namely 88%.
