Abstract


he issues faced in the Social Studies (IPS) subject include the management of learning conducted by teachers, which tends to focus more on memorization of content through a one-way communication model from teacher to student. The purpose of this research is to describe the development of the Scrapbook in Box media for learning about ASEAN countries in Social Studies for sixth-grade elementary school students, as well as to determine the validity of this Scrapbook in Box learning media. The research design used is the Research and Development (R&D) design, specifically employing the ADDIE model, which consists of five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Both qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques are utilized
