Abstract


The approach in this research is quantitative with a Pre-Experimental type of research and uses a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques are tests, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The following findings in this research are 1) an overview of the use of audio-visual learning media which shows that there are differences in learning using audio-visual media (2) an overview of student listening skills in grade IV SDN 104 Tontonan in witch the listening skills show an increase in listening results in the form of tests (3 ) the effect of the use of audio-visual media on the listening skills of four grade students at SDN 104 Tontonan. The results of this research showed that there was an effect of the use audio-visual learning media on the listening skills of four grade students of SDN 104 Tontonan. Therefore, it can be stated that the application of audio-visual media has an influence on the listening skills of four grade students of SDN 104 Tontonan, Kabupaten Enrekang.
