Analysis of the Difficulty Level of Indonesian Language Learning Middle School Package Book Questions

Abstract


This research is a descriptive quantitative research that aims to describe the level of difficulty of class VIII Indonesian language textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture and describe the distinguishing power of the items in class VIII Indonesian language textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data in this study were the answer sheets of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga, and the data source was the Indonesian language textbooks for class VIII published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Data collection is done by assignment technique. On this study indicate that the level of difficulty of class VIII Indonesian language textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture at SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga is questions that are relatively easy are 33.3%, questions that are classified as medium are 60%, and  questions that are classified as difficult are 6.6% and the discriminating power in the questions about Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII published by the Ministry of Education and Culture at SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga is questions with poor interpretation are 0%, 0 is sufficient. %, 40% good, and 60% very good.
