Abstract


Based on the problems of this research, a learning model is needed that can improve students' creative thinking. One way to improve students' creative thinking is by applying a controversial issue learning model. My researcher is interested in conducting research entitled "The Influence of Controversial Issues Learning Models on the Creative Thinking Ability of Class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Unggulan Toddopuli Makassar. The controversial problem learning model is one model that can be applied in teaching and learning activities. According to Komasalasari (2015) the learning process using a controversial learning model presents actual problems that are being associated with learning materials so that it encourages students to come up with alternative solutions to problems through students' thinking processes that lead to creative thinking skills. The type of research used in this research is Pre-experimental Designs and includes a type of research that is quantitative in nature.
