Application of the Make a Match Type Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Primary School Student Learning Outcomes in Citizenship Education Learning in Gowa Regency

Abstract


The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of Civics in class IV SDN Cambaya, Gowa Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Make A Match cooperative learning model in improving Civics learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Cambaya, Gowa Regency. This research approach is a qualitative approach. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is recycled/cyclical, which includes planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The focus of this research is the learning outcomes of Civics and the Make A Match cooperative learning model. The subjects in this study were 12 teachers and fourth grade students at SDN Cambaya, Gowa Regency, in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year, consisting of 8 boys and 4 girls. Observation data collection techniques, tests and summaries. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research that has been analyzed show that there is an increase in each cycle. Cycle I test results with "adequate" qualifications and experienced an increase in cycle II with "good" qualifications.
