Analysis of Teacher Difficulties in Thematic Learning for Elementary School Students in Barru Regency

Abstract


This research was conducted based on the problem of difficulties experienced by teachers in carrying out thematic learning. The purposes of this study were: (1) to analyze the difficulties experienced by teachers in carrying out thematic learning at UPTD SD Negeri 110 Barru, (2) to describe what factors influenced teacher difficulties at UPTD SD Negeri 110 Barru. This research is included in qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The design used in this study is a qualitative research design. Data in this study were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used in this study is a qualitative analysis method. Test the validity of the data in this study is Credibility, External Validity, Reliability and Objectivity. The results showed that the implementation of thematic learning in class was not in accordance with the lesson plan lesson plan sheet that had been made by the teacher. The delivery of material is still seen separately between subjects and even the teacher explains the material not in the form of a theme but per subject. So it can be concluded that the application of thematic learning at UPTD SD Negeri 110 Barru teachers have not been maximized in carrying out thematic learning.
