Abstract


This research is a study on the problem-based learning model for improving critical thinking skills in class V UPTD SDN 188 Barru. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a class action research type. The purpose of this research is to describe the Application of the Problem Based Learning Model to improve students' critical thinking skills in class V UPTD SDN 188 Barru. The focus of this research is the application that helps students evaluate to solve problems. This research consisted of 2 cycles, and each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. Data were analyzed through 3 stages, namely data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Based on research data from observations of students' critical thinking. And teaching the teacher has increased in every meeting and has reached a good category and students' critical thinking skills have reached the predetermined criteria of completeness.
