Application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model to Improve Creative Thinking Skills in Elementary School Students in Soppeng Regency

Abstract


This research is research on the application of problem-based learning models to increasing the ability to think creatively in class IV UPTD SPF SD 219 Madekkang students. The approach used in this research is qualitative with this type of research, namely classroom action research. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of Model Based Learning to improve the creative thinking skills of Grade IV UPTD SD 219 Madekkang Soppeng students.The focus of this research is the application of the problem-based learning model to the ability to think creatively.. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. Data were analyzed through 3 stages, namely data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Based on research data from observations of students' learning activities and teacher teaching, they have increased in each meeting and have achieved a good category and students' creative thinking skills have achieved the predetermined criteria of completeness.
