Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of educational services on student satisfaction in the accounting education study program, Faculty of Economics, Makassar State University. The variables in this study are the quality of educational service as the independent variable (X) and student satisfaction as the dependent variable (Y). Data collection techniques using questonnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is percentage descriptive analysis, instrument testing and hypothesis testing. Based on the data analysis that has been done, a simple linear regression equation model is obtained Ŷ = 3,301 + 0,916X, which means that if the variable of quality of education services iz zero, the the variable of student satisfaction is 0,916. From the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determinasi (R2) a value of 0,729 or 72,9 percent is obtained, which means that the effect of the quality of the educational services on the student satisfaction is 72,9 percent and the remaining 27,1 percent is influenced by other factors.
