The Influence of the Inquiry Learning Model on Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students in Social Studies Content

Abstract


This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design research type and uses a nonequivalent control group design which aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Rappokalling 1, Tallo District, Makassar City. The population in this study, namely students of class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Rappokalling 1, Tallo District, Makassar City, totaling 62 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study with tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis consisting of hypothesis testing using an independent sample T-test. The results showed that the learning process using the inquiry learning model in the experimental class took place effectively, compared to student learning outcomes in the control class. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Rappokalling 1, Tallo District, Makassar City.
