Abstract


This research is a study that examines the learning model of the team games tournament (TGT) and student learning motivation, which aims to find out (1) the description of the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation of Class IV Students at SDN 148 Inpres Bontoa, Bontoa District, Maros Regency. , (2) a description of students' learning motivation after the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model for Class IV Students at SDN 148 Inpres Bontoa, Bontoa District, Maros Regency, (3) to determine the effect of implementing the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation of Class IV Students SDN 148 Inpres Bontoa, Bontoa District, Maros Regency. The independent variable in this study was the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, while the dependent variable was the fourth grade students' learning motivation. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN 148 Inpres Bontoa, Bontoa District, Maros Regency, while the sample was all students who made up the population with a total of 20 students. The research data were obtained from the results of student observations during the learning process. Based on the results of the analysis, the data obtained are: (1) The learning process using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model takes place effectively and has increased from each meeting, (2) students' learning motivation is in the high category and has increased after being given treatment, and (3) there is an effect of implementing the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation of Class IV Students at SDN 148 Inpres Bontoa, Bontoa District, Maros Regency.
