Use of Green School-Based Animated Video Media to Increase Primary School Students' Concern for the Environment

Abstract


This research is a classroom action research that aims to find out the use of green school-based animated video media to increase students' awareness of the environment in class III SD Negeri 83 Dante Marari, Enrekang Regency. The approach used is a qualitative approach consisting of 2 cycles, where each cycle of activities includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The focus of this research is the use of green school-based animated video media to increase students' awareness of the environment in class III SD Negeri 83 Dante Marari, Enrekang Regency. The research subjects were teachers and third grade students in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year, totaling 20 people. Data collection uses the format of observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative. The results showed that there was an increase in learning in the use of green school-based animated video media, both in the activities of teachers and students as well as students' concern for the school environment. The conclusion of this study is that teacher teaching activities and student learning activities have increased. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle are in the less category while in the second cycle student learning outcomes have increased in the good category from the percentage of students' concern for the environment by using green school-based animated video media in Indonesian language learning can increase students' awareness of the third grade school environment SD Negeri 83 Dante Marari..
