Abstract


This study examines the effect of the scramble type cooperative learning model on student learning achievement reading comprehension fiksi dan non-fiction for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 121 Pinrang, Pinrang Regency. The formulation of the research problem is whether there is an influence of the scramble type cooperative learning model on student learning achievement reading comprehension about fiction and non-fiction texts for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 121 Pinrang, Pinrang Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of the scramble type cooperative learning model on student learning achievement reading comprehension about fiction and non-fiction texts for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 121 Pinrang, The research subjects were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 121 Pinrang, totaling 24 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 24 students. Data were collected using test questions. The results of statistical analysis showed that student learning achievement before and after learning using the Scramble Type Cooperative Learning Model increased or there was an influence between the Scramble type cooperative learning model and student learning achievement.
