The Effect of Using Monopoly Game Media on Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students in Science Learning in Enrekang Regency

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to describe the use of monopoly game media in science subjects for class IV UPT SDN 100 Salokaraja, Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency, to find out the description of science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at UPT SDN 100 Salokaraja, Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency and to determine the effect of using media. Monopoly game on science subjects for class IV UPT SDN 100 Salokaraja, Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency. This research is included in experimental research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study is class IV a as the experimental class with a total of 16 people and class IVb as a control class with a total of 16 people. The data collection techniques in this study are test and non-test (observation) techniques, the results of which will be analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the use of monopoly game media in this study was carried out very well; (2) The pretest value of the experimental group and the control group before giving treatment (treatment) is in the poor category, and the posttest value of the experimental group after giving the treatment (treatment) is in the good category, while the control group is only in the moderate category; (3) There is no significant difference and there is a significant difference between the posttest mean of the experimental group and the posttest of the control group. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the use of onopoly game media to student learning outcomes in science subjects for class IV at UPT SDN 100 Salokaraja, Maiwa sub-district, Enrekang Regency.
