Application of Make A Match Type Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Process and Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students in Wajo District

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of student learning processes and achievement utilization of natural resources in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 361 Lampulung, Wajo Regency by applying the make a match type of cooperative learning model. This research is classroom action research (CAR). The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the focus of the process and the focus of the learning achievement. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. The research subjects were teacher and fourth grade students, totaling 14 students, 6 male students and 8 female students. The research was carried out in two cycles. In the first cycle the research results on the learning process were in good qualification (B) and the learning test results were in sufficient qualification (C). Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the research results on the learning process were in good qualification (B) and the learning test results were in good qualification (B). The conclusion of this research is the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model can improve the process and learning achievement of utilization of natural resources in class IV SD Negeri 361 Lampulung, Wajo regency.
