PENGENALAN PERMAINAN HADANG SEBAGAI MEDIA PELESTARIAN BUDAYA

Abstract

Traditional hadang games are one of the cultural heritages that need to be preserved, but with the development of technology and globalization, many modern games have started to replace traditional games, so that the younger generation has begun to abandon traditional games. The community in Neglasari Village, Purabaya Subdistrict, especially in Cipari State Elementary School, still does not recognize the traditional game of hadang. In order to introduce the traditional game of hadang, it is necessary to introduce hadang to the students of Cipari State Elementary School using the socialization method which aims to preserve traditional games in Neglasari Village, Purabaya Subdistrict. The preservation of traditional games is very important to maintain the cultural heritage of the Indonesian nation. so that the values of local wisdom and national character are not eroded by the flow of technological development and globalization.
