Abstract

The research problem is the low learning outcomes of class V students. The problem in the research is how to apply the PjBL model to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 47 Parepare. This research is PTK research which aims to determine the process and results of implementing the PjBL learning model in class V flat shape material. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. There were 36 research subjects, namely 1 class V teacher and 35 students. The research was carried out in two cycles. Cycle I, the results of the learning process research were at sufficient qualifications (C) and the learning test results were at sufficient qualifications (C). Cycle II, the results of the learning process research were in good qualifications (B) and the learning test results were in good qualifications (B). The conclusion of the research is that the application of the project based learning (PjBL) learning model can improve the mathematics learning process and outcomes for class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 47 Parepare.
