Author Guidelines

Writing Article Guidance

For JE3S (Journal of Economic Education and Entrepreneurship Studies)

JE3S (Journal of Economic Education and Entrepreneurship Studies) are published twice a year every July and December, containing scientific ideas and research results written by experts, educators, scientists, practitioners, and reviewers in the fields of economics, education and Entrepreneurship.

General requirements:

  1. The length of the article is between 3000 to 4000 words (including bibliography, notes, and tables).
  2. Attach a statement that the article has not been published yet in any other publication and in any forms.
  3. Each article will be given test of plagiarism.
  4. The article consists of 9 components:
  5. article in Bahasa Indonesia or article english language

TITLE: USE CAPITAL LETTER, BLACK, LEFT INDENT

The sections in the article does not use chapters (except for the research result and the discussion), but the indicators that the components or sections in the article stated can be seen at the first sentence in the first paragraph.

  1. The article is delivered using the following components:

Title: Maximum 14 words for article in Bahasa Indonesia. The font used is Century ukuran 12 and bold.

The writer’s name: The writer’s name is written under the title using font Century ukuran 10, bold, without titles, and cannot be shortened. Under the name of the writer it is written the areas of expertise, institution name, and the email address of the writer.

Abstract: no more than 200 words, written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia in one paragraph containing: The research objectives, research methodology, data analysis, and research findings. It is typed using font Century, single space.

Keyword: Maximum 5 words, separated with comma, typed using double space under the abstract. [font Century, 11, single space, italic]

Introduction: it is typed in all capitals [bold, 12 size, Time New Roman font], The introduction is typed in capital letters, containing the background described with the previous state of the art research. At least 5 pieces of literature can be able to justify novelty, overcome a problem, urgency and rationalization of activities, literature review, problem-solving plan, and hypothesis development, analysis GAP, solution to problems, renewal of science, reference to primary sources, describe objectives and hypotheses at the end of the introduction [normal, 11,5 size, Century font]

Methodology: Research methodology explains about: the approach, scope or object, operational definition in each variable/description of research focus, place, population and sample/informant, main source and tool, technique of data collection, and technique of data analysis. [font Century, 11,5, Normal]

Findings and Discussion: The findings is presented in full and related with the scope of the research determined before. The findings can be completed with tables, graphs, and/or charts. The tables and pictures are given number and title. The result of data analysis is explained correctly in the article. The discussion part logically explains the findings, associated with the relevant sources. [Century, 11,5, Normal]

Conclusion and Suggestion: The conclusion contains the short summary of the findings and discussion. Conclusion is the findings in the research that has the answers for the research questions or the objective of the research. The research findings give suggestions or contributions to the application and/or the study development. [Century, 11,5, Normal]

References: reference sources of at least 10-15 with 80% of literature published in the last 5-10 years. References must refer to the fifth edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) publication manual. All sources listed in the reference must be in article scripts using reference applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, AndNote

  1. The manuscript should be typed in the Microsoft Office Word format, using 11,5 sizes, Time New Roman font, single space in A4 paper.
  2. If the paper is accepted for publication, the author(s) will be asked to pay the article publication fee.
  3. People who are interested to purchase printed Journal of JE3S: Journal of Economic Education and Entrepreneurship Studies may contact the journal management.
  4. All manuscript must be submitted electronically through the e-mail and address it to the editor:

Tables

  • All tables are to be numbered using Arabic numerals.
  • Tables should always be cited in text in consecutive numerical order.
  • For each table, please supply a table caption (title) explaining the components of the table.
  • Identify any previously published material by giving the original source in the form of a reference at the end of the table caption.
  • Footnotes to tables should be indicated by superscript lower-case letters (or asterisks for significance values and other statistical data) and included beneath the table body.

 

Figures

Although authors are encouraged to send the highest-quality figures possible, for peer-review purposes, a wide variety of formats, sizes, and resolutions are accepted. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
