Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring Menggunakan Media WhatsApp Selama Pandemi Covid-19 pada Mata Pelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Pasir Putih

Abstract

This study aims to find out the representation of the effectiveness of e-learning using WhatsApp media during the covid-19 pandemic in science subjects at junior high school 1 Pasir Putih. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study are all students of grade IX junior high school 1 Pasir Putih who learned to use WhatsApp media while studying online in science subjects. Sampling with saturated sampling so that all class IX is obtained as a sample. . Data collection instruments using questionnaires and learning outcomes. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive statistics by presenting data using mean and grand mean formulas. Based on the results of statistical analysis, it can be concluded that e-learning using WhatsApp media during the Covid-19 pandemic at junior high school 1 Pasir Putih is effective category.
