Focus and Scope

Al-Fashahah Journal is a journal in the fields of Arabic language education, linguistics and literature. We publish research papers, review articles and case studies focused on Arabic education, linguistics, literature and culture. In the field of Arabic language education, this journal publishes articles on Arabic language learning media, educational technology, learning strategies, learning strategies, learning evaluation, and Arabic language learning research methodology. This journal also publishes Arabic phonetic and phonological studies, morphology, syntax, discourse analysis, pragmatics, anthropolinguistics, language and culture, dialectology, language documentation, forensic linguistics, comparative historical linguistics, cognitive linguistics, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, neurolinguistics, language education, translation, language planning, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics. We also publish papers focusing on modern literature, oral literature, and children's literature, and Arabic culture.

Peer Review Process

Submissions are pre-reviewed by the editor and must be free of plagiarism content, a maximum similarity limit of 20%. The submitted manuscripts will be evaluated, whether they are in accordance with the focus and scope and template of the Al-Fashahah journal. Each paper submitted will be reviewed by at least two peer reviewers. The review process uses a double-blind review, which means the identities of reviewers and writers are kept confidential from reviewers, and vice versa. The review process will consider novelty, objectivity, methods, scientific impact, conclusions, and references. The suggested decisions will be evaluated at an editorial board meeting. The reviewer comments are then sent to the appropriate authors for action.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
