Focus and Scope

Journal of Educational Publications published an article in the form of the results of thought, research and community service education. The focus and scope of the published article is about basic education or elementary school related to the theory and practice of teaching and learning, curriculum development, learning materials, learning model, learning methods and instructional media. (Secara khusus Jurnal Publikasi Pendidikan menerbitkan artikel-artikel tentang hasil pemikiran, penelitian dan pengabdian bidang ilmu pendidikan yang fokus pada pendidikan dasar yang berhubungan dengan teori dan praktik belajar dan pembelajaran, pengembangan kurikulum, materi pembelajaran, model, metode dan media pembelajaran.)

Peer Review Process

All submited article are reviewed by anonymous referees by reviewer for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform author of the results of the review as soon as possible  (1-2  months). Please notice that may be paper submissions to Publikasi Pendidikan the duration of the review process can be up to 3 months.

Reviewers examine the text of the aspects of quality and substance of the writing (not grammar texts), which includes the novelty, originality, usefulness and validity of citations and bibliography.

Reviewers received the manuscript blind review (anonymous author) of section editor or editorial secretariat. If it is not according to their competencies, the reviewer is entitled to refuse the manuscript and recommend it to others more competent reviewer.    

After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on reviewers’ recommendation:

  1. Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
  2. Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
  3. Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
  4. Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in Publikasi Pendidikan.

 

Publication Frequency

Publish 3 times in one year, in the first week of February, June and October. 
articles entered no later than early January (to publish Fabruari), early May
(to publish June) and early September (to publish October).

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal of Educational Publications published three times a year in February, June and October.

Terbit 3 kali dalam satu tahun, di Pekan I bulan Februari, Juni dan Oktober. Artikel masuk paling lambat awal Januari (untuk terbit Fabruari), awal Mei (untuk terbit Juni) dan awal September (untuk terbit Oktober).

Publishing printed version the first time in 2011 with the ISSN number 2088-2092. Start Volume V No. 3 of 2015 is published online by the ISSN number 2548-6721 in http://ojs.unm.ac.id/index.php/pubpend.
