Focus and Scope

Journal of Educational Publications published an article in the form of the results of thought, research and community service education. The focus and scope of the published article is about basic education or elementary school related to the theory and practice of teaching and learning, curriculum development, learning materials, learning model, learning methods and instructional media. (Secara khusus Jurnal Publikasi Pendidikan menerbitkan artikel-artikel tentang hasil pemikiran, penelitian dan pengabdian bidang ilmu pendidikan yang fokus pada pendidikan dasar yang berhubungan dengan teori dan praktik belajar dan pembelajaran, pengembangan kurikulum, materi pembelajaran, model, metode dan media pembelajaran.)

Peer Review Process

All submitted article is reviewed by 2 (two) anonymous referees by a reviewer for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform the author of the results of the review as soon as possible  (1-2  months). Please notice that may be paper submissions to Publikasi Pendidikan the duration of the review process can be up to 3 months.

Reviewers examine the text of the aspects of quality and substance of the writing (not grammar texts), which includes the novelty, originality, usefulness, and validity of citations and bibliography.

After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on reviewers’ recommendation:

  1. Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
  2. Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
  3. Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
  4. Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in Publikasi Pendidikan.

 

Publication Frequency

Publish 3 times in one year, in the first week of February, June and October. 
articles entered no later than early January (to publish Fabruari), early May
(to publish June) and early September (to publish October).

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in Publikasi Pendidikan.

Publikasi Pendidikan provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Publikasi Pendidikan offers all authors of journal articles allows their research openly available, free access and time restrictions.

All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. Under the CC-BY-SA license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their article, but authors grant others permission to use the content of publications in Publikasi Pendidikan in whole or in part provided that the original work is properly cited. Users (redistributors) of Publikasi Pendidikan are required to cite the original source, including the author's names, Publikasi Pendidikan as the initial source of publication, year of publication, volume number.
