Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and finding 1). implementation of boarding house management regulations in Tidung sub-district, Rappocini District, Makassar City, 2). Factors influencing the implementation of boarding house management regulations in Tidung Village, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with phenomenological research. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The process of data collection carried out by researchers, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that: 1). The implementation of boarding house management policies has not gone well, this can be seen in terms of licensing and management. Where there is still a lack of boarding house voters who take care of permits, then in terms of management, many boarding houses do not comply with regulations, such as in terms of facilities that should be available to existing restrictions. 2). Factors influencing the implementation of boarding house management policies can be seen in terms of interpretation, which experience problems in conveying and outreach to the community so that many people do not know and understand well about boarding house licensing and management. On organizational problems there is no SOP that is used in implementing policies. Finally, at the application stage, there is no initiative in the licensing process to make licensing easier.
