Abstract

Social entrepreneur is an activity initiated by individuals to solve social problems in their environment through economic activities. Social entrepreneurs target the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) for welfare in the community. Sociopreneur began to develop and become a trend among youth. This becomes interesting to study, because millennial youth play an important role in the era of demographic bonus. This paper is a literature review related to social entrepreneurs and the character of the millennial generation. The millennial generation with the ability to think openly, critically, and actively use digital technology makes individuals able to be more creative and innovative. This capital is needed in carrying out social entrepreneurial activities, so the government needs to encourage youth to be involved in social entrepreneurial activities and make policies that support social enterprise.
