Abstract


Good performance is performance that meets organizational standards and contributes to the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to determine the description of financial compensation, description of employee performance, and the effect of financial compensation on employee performance at the Secretariat Office of the Barru Regency DPRD. The sample used in this study amounted to 35 employees of the Barru Regency DPRD Secretariat. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The test results show that the Financial Compensation variable is in the very high category, while the Employee Performance variable is in the very good category. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, the relationship between variables is moderate. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant effect of financial compensation on the performance of the Barru Regency DPRD Secretariat employees. This study has a more in-depth coverage than previous studies, previous studies focused on overall compensation, but this research focuses on financial compensation.
