Evaluasi Sumber Daya Mineral Batugamping Dolomitan untuk Pengembangan Usaha Pertambangan Kapur Pertanian Di Daerah Madello Kabupaten Barru

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design the entrepreneurship of a mining business for dolomitan limestone mineral resources into an environmentally friendly agricultural limestone mining business. The research location is in the Madelo area, Balusu District. The research was conducted by means of surveys and mapping. The development of an environmentally sound mining business requires wise resource management. On the other hand, the mining business poses a risk of environmental damage. Therefore, environmental control measures are an effort that must be taken into account in environmentally sound mining planning. Dolomitan limestone in the study area shows levels of CaO = 51.9% and MgO = 1.5%, so it can be used as raw material for agricultural lime to neutralize acid soil in pond areas and as agricultural fertilizer. The agricultural lime is spread over an area of 11.75 ha with a mineable reserve of 2,350,000 tons. Mining that is suitable to be applied is open pit mining with a terrace system, excavation is carried out using the back filling method. The equipment needed is an excavator, bulldozer, dump truck and stone crusher. The production plan is 60,000 tons/year, so the mine life is 35.25 years. Marketing plan to domestic farmers and farmers, selling price is IDR 250,000 per ton for the logo of the factory warehouse in Madello. Proposed mining activities and processing of agricultural lime based on considerations of the smooth running of production and the environment consist of: land clearing, removal of overburden, construction of mining roads, unloading, loading, transporting, breaking, sifting, bagging, post-mining reclamation. The investment required is Rp. 11,707,500,000, working capital is Rp. 2,569,000,000, source of bank credit funds with interest on investment credit loans is 15% and working capital loans are 18%.. The results of the feasibility analysis show that the net present value at an interest rate of 15% has a positive value of 12,513,049,000. Internal rate of return 35.73%. Profitability Index (PI) = 1.88 (bigger 1), so that the Madello Agricultural Lime mining business is feasible to carry out. The break even point occurred in sales of Rp. 5,893.979,592 with a price of Rp. 98,233 per ton and total production of 11,552.22 tons. Total workforce consists of 67 permanent employees.
