Abstract


In improving the performance of MSMEs in order to be an effective solution in improving the welfare of their managers, efforts are needed to innovate in order to improve the performance of MSMEs, especially in increasing sales, customer loyalty and increasing profits. This study is a literature review to examine the concept of innovation in improving the performance of MSMEs by conducting an analysis in the journal of research results then describing and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, an overview of innovations that must be carried out in improving performance is obtained, namely 1) innovation in creating product uniqueness, 2) innovation in carrying out efficient product processes, 3) Innovation in marketing and 4) innovation in the management of MSMEs
