Abstract


To optimize the application of environmental education in learning in schools so that it does not stop at understanding and theory, education and training related to entrepreneurship are needed to foster students' creativity and skills in utilizing plastic waste to minimize the accumulation of plastic waste. The objectives of this research are to: (1) find environmentally friendly learning models for elementary schools, both public and private; (2) Find a description of the material needed in the development of environmentally friendly learning models for elementary school children, both public and private; (3) Finding steps to develop the material so that it is valid and practical to use. The subjects in this study were high school elementary school students in two schools in each school, 40 people were used as research subjects. The results of this study indicate that after the implementation of five learning programs that are used to develop environmentally friendly characters. The five programs can shape the character of students who are more concerned about the environment.
