Pemberdayaan Kelompok Kegiatan Guru (KKG) dalam pembuatan media literasi kelas awal di Kabupaten Polman

Abstract


School Literacy Action (SLA) is also one of the work programs of KKG Wilayah 01 in Polman district. The KKG group is in Polewali 001 Elementary School (as a core school). The KKG group consists of 8 core and impact schools with a total of 98 teachers both PNS and non PNS teachers. While the number of early grade teachers for the 2018-2019 school year is 42 people. Early grade teachers needed more interactive media literacy in teaching reading for early grade students, namely classes 1, 2 and 3. This was because so far the early class students when the learning/literacy process still used traditional media such as the blackboard. The aims of this program to improve: 1) knowledge and technical skills to make the media literacy of the early classes for early grade teachers in the KKG region 01 Polman district, 2) the skills of the early class teachers at region 01 KKG Polman about the big book media literacy . The methods used to achieve this goal are: 1) Training, 2) Demonstrations, and 3) Assistance with the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. The proposed activities include training and mentoring. The specific target achieved is the increase in partner knowledge and skills about early-class media literacy.
