Penyusunan bahan ajar Sastra Makassar bagi Guru Bahasa Daerah di Kabupaten Takalar

Abstract


The purpose of this activity is to improve the quality
of local language learning. Therefore, the quality of local
language teachers must be continuously improved, both in
terms of curriculum implementation, preparation of learning
media, mastering local language materials, implementing
language learning models, and learning assessment systems. In
this program, several stages were carried out, namely (1)
preparation: opening and distributing pre-tests and training
contracts; (2) presentation of materials; (3) practice and
simulation; (4) mentoring; (5) evaluation. This program was
carried out with a number of partners including the Head of
Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Office in Takalar who
had given permission to organize this program in his working
area as well as teachers in Local Language Teacher Working
Group in Takalar as a forum to improve teachers‟
professionalism through joint trainings. Through this activity,
the results showed that local language teachers (in primary and
secondary schools) in Takalar had adequate knowledge about
the Curriculum 2013 (K-13), especially the Basic
Competencies and Indicators of Makassar Local Language
Learning; the teachers are skillful in developing syllabus and
lesson plan based on the K-13 with scientific approach; and
the teachers are skillful in developing teaching materials based
on learning objectives, indicators, and basic competencies that
have been formulated.
