Pemberdayaan kelompok pembudidaya ikan bandeng tanpa duri melalui diversifikasi produk di Kabupaten Pinrang

Abstract


The purpose of this program was to empower the
cultivator group of milkfish filet through diversification of
processed products. This program was made according to the
results of identification problems and potential processing of
milkfish meat in Suppa District, Pinrang Regency. Some
related activities included: 1) Increased partner knowledge in
cultivating milkfish through training; 2) Increased knowledge
of milkfish farmers (partners) in processing milkfish into other
processed food products (diversification of processed
products), for example, to become meatballs, nugget, and
tumpi-tumpi. The results of the implementation of this activity
were: 1) The program was conducted in Tasiwalie Village,
Suppa District, Pinrang Regency, South-Sulawesi. One of the
fishery products that is often consumed by Tasiwalie villagers
is milkfish. Milkfish is a fishery commodity that quite tasty
and savory so that it is much popular in the community; 2)
Long-term planning of Empowerment Activities for milkfish
filet cultivator group through product diversification is
opening small business/water industry units, in this case,
milkfish cultivation, management pattern, diversification of
processed milkfish products into other forms; and 3) The
assessment results in the implementation of Empowerment of
Milkfish Cultivator Group through Product Diversification in
Suppa District, Pinrang Regency, South-Sulawesi revealed
overall mean score was 4.55 (with Good Criteria).
