Abstract
The aim of this program was (1) to increase the
knowledge and skills of the target group in order to manage 3T
waste into compost and liquid organic fertilizer; (2) to
introduce the appropriate technology for the composter for the
community as a tool for the composting process; (3) to provide
knowledge and skills of the targeted group community to be
able to meet the family's nutritional needs through the
management of the yard as a food (vegetable) home; (4) to
provide business management skills, production, marketing
and packaging of fertilizer products. The results of the
implementation of learning and community empowerment
program showed: (1) the number of participants who actively
participated in this learning and empowerment program was
45 people who were Raskin recipients; (2) training participants
have had the knowledge and skills in making hydroponics,
liquid organic fertilizer (POC), and composting; (3) three
hydroponic model houses were built in Bilokka, Corawali, and
Lise Villages, respectively. It is recommended that the Local
Government learn and empower the community through the
development of organic resources based on local resources to
increase family income. Thus, an intense assistance can be
conducted in order to improve the living standards of the
community.
