Abstract


Abstract. The partner of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) was elementary teachers that teaches English that joined MGMP Pare-Pare. The problems were: (1) tecahers generally teach English by following the textbooks they choose, (2) lack of  ability and skills in improving students’ language skills, and (3) lack of teachers’ abilities to design and use Information and Communication and Technology (ICT) in learning both as a learning medium and as a learning resource. The outcome goals are to increase the competence of English teachers at the primary school level joined in the MGMP Pare-Pare. The methods used were: lectures with question and answers, discussion, and demonstration. The results achieved were (1) partners have knowlede of how to integrate ICT with the use of textbooks they choose, (2) partners have the ability and skills to improve students’ language skills, and (3) partners have the ability to design and use ICT, bot as a meedium learning and as a learning resouce
